Faern’s work is spontaneous and natural, her ideas manifest themselves with extraordinary detail and versatility. Residing in San Francisco, but caught between two worlds–the waking and the dreaming–she moves forward with relentless abandon to capture the ephemeral images all around us.

She spent her early adult years living out her artist’s fate, drifting along planes of reality before receiving her BA in Art Studio. Chasing down images in her vast volume of work, she exhibits a deft understanding of the dreams and shadows that make her photography, mixed media and oil painting  unique and vocal.

Faern has an observable multi-medium corpus of expression growing from a daily aspiration to produce constructive images. Her experience brings an atmosphere of liberation to her commercial work, making living and working inextricable from each other.
