Reflecting back into the camera a part of you that you might have forgotten exists

I have a couple of past series in this technique, the series being shared on this page are all from the project “InterUrban Reflections”. My preferred working surface for this project are discarded cabinet doors.
My idea of what the body can do has changed immensely since adding Contortion into my life.
Faern’s studio is centrally located in San Francisco. These HeadShot sessions are streamlined, let’s say-done conveniently on your lunch break, but in no way are they rushed.
Every day we hold these Muni transfers, well, some of us still do. They are a part of daily life, a thing that we touch when we get on and off our public transportation that connects our communities.

Continuing to work within the series ‘InterUrban Reflections’ by “up-cycling” the San Francisco Muni transfers that would have been otherwise wasted.
